The Púca (also spelled puca, pooka, phouka, or puck) is a legendary creature from old Irish folklore — a mysterious spirit known for its shapeshifting and trickster nature. Tales of the Púca span the Celtic world, with echoes found in English, Channel Islands, and even Germanic traditions across north-western Europe. Whether feared or revered, the Púca stirs the imagination — a timeless figure of magic, mischief, and mystery.

2/3 ~. The Púca — Shapeshifter of Fortune and Folklore
The Púca, mysterious and unpredictable, could bring good luck or mischief, depending on its whims — a true bearer of dual fortune.
A master shapeshifter, the Púca could appear as a horse, goat, hare, raven, or even as a shadowy human figure with glowing eyes. Some tales tell of a charming trickster luring travelers onto wild midnight rides; others speak of helpful Púca who offered warnings, advice, or rewards to those who treated them with respect. Neither wholly good nor evil, the Púca lives in the twilight space between worlds, a spirit of transformation, chaos, and possibility.
