3 Kings – A Legendary Line-up Like No Other

To kick off our new social media presence in 2024, we ran a one-off prize competition featuring a cheeky tribute to three of Ireland’s most iconic music legends — reimagined as seasonal celebrity miniatures in our bold toon style first conceived in 2023.

But who would earn a crown in this legendary trio?

🎸 Rory Gallagher — The beloved blues-rock virtuoso from Cork (by way of Donegal), clutching a box of Barry’s Tea like the national treasure it is.
🎸 Gary Moore — Belfast-born guitar hero, bringing the crunch with a classic yellow bag of Tayto crisps, just like they do up north.
🎤 Phil Lynott — The one and only Rocker himself, Phil Lynott, cool as ever, wielding the true Irish hero’s feast: a chicken-fillet roll.
Together, they ruled the season — not with gold, frankincense, or myrrh, but with riffs, rolls, and pure Irish swagger.
